On March 21, 2023, H. E. Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada paid visits to the sites of the China-funded Low-income Housing Project Phase I in Grenville and St. George’s. These Housing Units, which were completed and handed over to the Grenadian Government in August 2012, have been transformed into beautiful communities with good environment. During his inspection, Ambassador Wei visited several families, chatted with the local residents and exchanged ideas on the management and maintenance of the houses. The residents expressed their heartful thanks to the People and Government of China for their sincere assistance and support to the improvement of livelihood of the local people.
