China and Grenada Held A Virtual Meeting of Medical Experts on Covid-19 Response

On October 20, China and Grenada held a Virtual Meeting of Medical Experts on Covid-19 Response. H.E. Ambassador Wei Hongtian, Dr.Jiang Rongmeng, Chief Physician of Beijing Ditan Hospital, Dr. Li Chao, Associate Professor of Public Health Emergency Center of the China CDC, Dr. Shawn Charles, Chief Medical Officer of Ministry of Health and Social Security of Grenada, and over 20 physicians and nurses from Grenada joined the meeting.

Ambassador Wei noted that China always stands ready to render assistance and support to Grenada in the fight against Covide-19. Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Grenada, China has repeatedly provided medical assistance to Grenada, and shared experiences on Covid-19 prevention and control through several virtual meetings, fully reflecting the friendly relations between China and Grenada.


During the meeting, the Chinese experts shared China’s experiences on prevention and Control of COVID-19, isolation facilities set up and management, and diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19, and answered questions raised by their Grenadian counterparts. The Grenadian side thanked the Chinese experts for their excellent presentations and the Chinese government for the continuous support.
