2022-08-17 02:49

Based on changes in the COVID-19 pandemic situation and relevant policy of the Chinese government, starting from 14th November 2022, the following adjustments are made to the pre-departure testing requirements for passengers departing from Grenada to China.

I. Testing requirement

Passengers traveling to China are required to take ONE PCR tests within 48 hours before departure of your final flight to China(e.g. If the flight to China departs on December 10, the sampling time can be on December 8, 9, or 10). The test reports should contain specific information such as name, passport number, date of birth, date of collection, date of report and the contact information of the testing institution.

II. Passengers can take the nucleic acid test and apply for the health code as required in Grenada or transit country(region). Please ensure your “green code” remains valid before departure of your final flight to China.

III. Special reminders

i. Passengers should make sure to follow the latest pre-departure testing requirements released on the Embassy’s website, abide by rules of pre-departure isolation in a conscious manner and make personal protection throughout the journey, so as to avoid any delay in the itinerary caused by the positive test result before departure.

ii. The Chinese Embassy in Grenada will examine relevant applications on weekdays, weekends and holidays. When travelers applying for an HS/HDC QR Code, make sure to fill in the relevant information truthfully, accurately, and completely. Otherwise, the application will be rejected, and any loss caused shall be borne by the applicant.
